Lesson 140 History

1. President Richard Nixon:

President Nixon was born on January 9th, 1913 in Yorba linda, California, in a house that was built by his father.  Nixon’s nickname was Dick.  Don’t believe me? if you don’t just click on the blue words above this paragraph.  Go to Personal details on the right side panel, and right above Signature there is Nickname.  Now since you have seen it and now believe me, then let’s continue.  Nixon served in WWII with the rank of Commander in the US Navy.  Nixon was president during the Apollo 11’s trip to the moon.

2. President Gerald Ford:

Gerald was born on July 14, 1913.  He also served in the Navy but as a Lieutenant commander during WWII.  He was named after his biological father how would beat his mother.  The first time he hit her was on there honeymoon when she just smiled at a guy.  But she took the children to her parents and also remarried and renamed her newborn son to Gerald R. Ford Jr. changing it from Leslie Lynch King Jr.

3. President James Carter:

James Carter, also known as Jimmy Carter was born on October 1st, 1924, at the Wise Sanitarium in the Plains, Georgia.  Jimmy served in the Navy as Lieutenant during and after WWII.  His life dream was to serve in the Navy and his weight and height nearly did not allow him to join.  The other to president before Jimmy tried to stop the Cold War, but Jimmy continued the war because of the invasion of Afghanistan.
