Should unhealthy fast food products be sold with a warning label? Well all fast food is not healthy in the first place, and by putting a label on the food package that says “This food will make you fat beyond recognition. Please take a bit that will give you cancer, and die. You may also get a heart attack.” This would push customers away and make the monopoly makers loss money. I believe people already know that eating fast food will kill them.
Pros: Less people will be obese and will only go to the fast food restaurant only once a week at the most. Also less people would be rushed to the hospital for heart attacks from vein blocking to the heart. Your heart pumps blood and oxygen to every µm of your body, and that is why your body parts don’t rot and fall off. Your heart also pumps blood to the vein that connects to your heart, and depending on where that blocking has occurred, depends on what heart attack you will have. From the end of the vein, you have a small, and not life threatening heart attack, the second one is from the end of the vein to the 2/3 of the way up, you have a more serious heart attack, but you can survive from it, but you can also die if you don’t get treatment for it. And the last heart attack there is is when your vein is completely blocked, which means you will die.
Cons: The companies would have less customers. The Cons by not putting a warning label on the package is that more people will be obese, and more people would be rushed to the hospital from heart attacks.
Another thing companies put into your food are GMO’s. GMO stands for Genetically Modified Organisms. GMO are not healthy, and if you live in the US or Canada or India, then you have probably or most likely eaten GMO foods. The first animal to be GM or Genetically Modified was a fish known as the Zebra Danio, in 1999. The fish is usually a gold and dark blue fish that lives in India. When they where GM, that started to glow purple, blue, yellow, red, pink, and green. These fish are now called Glofish. Glofish is also the company that makes these fish and sells them to the US. But if you live in California, then you can not get these fish, because it is band. There are three different species of Glofish that you can buy in the US. To really see the color of the fish, you are going to need a black light, also known as ultraviolet, or infrared radiation. GMO in your food also can make you fat or obese. GM is also not good at all. GM plants are made to survive the cold, and to survive being poisoned.
So should unhealthy fast food products be sold with a warning label? It is the companys choose and not mine. But the people should know what is in there it is there right.
