Is having too many choices a problem?
“In today’s complex society there are many activities and interests competing for our time and attention. We tend to think that the more choices we have in life, the happier we will be. But having too many options–choices about how to spend our time or what interests to pursue–can be overwhelming and can make us feel like we have less freedom and less time.”
“Adapted from Jeff Davidson, (“Six Myths of Time Management”)”
The prompt is true. I think that most celebrities wish they had more time, and have more choices on what they do in life. Some directors of movies probably wish they had more time to make the movie near perfect.
Freedom is priceless. You have choices every day, but with your agency, you can choose whether you want to do it or not.
So having too many choices is not a problem. It is like choosing what to wear, and what to eat. Those are choices. So is going with a friend to their house or going to school. Every choice will have a consequence.
So, is having too many choices a problem? No, it will just make you better.
