Lesson:42, 43, 44, and 45

The characters in 20,000 leagues under the sea are Professor Aronnax, Professor’s servant, Ned Land, and Captain Nemo.

Professor Aronnax is a kind, loving person who loves the sea and the creatures within.  He lived in America and was chosen to lead an expedition to find the narwhal (which they discover is a submarine).  They go everywhere just to kill the narwhal, but they failed.  On the ship he meets Ned Land the Canadian harpooner.  He is a doctor, scientist, and a writer.

The servant, who belongs to Professor Aronnax, he is just like his master and loves him to.  He serves his master well and on that same tragic night they found themselves on the Sub with Ned Land.

Ned Land is an impatient person who cares about nothing except for his friends and himself.  He loves his job as a harpooner, even though it is dangerous.  On the submarine he always tries to find a way to get back to the mainland and get back home.  He meets the Professor on the ship that was on its way to kill the narwhal.

Captain Nemo, the captain of the submarine, hated society.  That is why he build the submarine.  He loves the ocean and practically lives there.  He has a base inside of a dead volcano, and there is where he gets his fuel to power the sub.  He has a crew that he loves.  He, just like the Professor, loves the sea. He loves traveling around the world, and likes sea creatures.
