My Favorite Sport
Sept 29, 2015
Soccer is my favorite sport because it is so much fun. When you play fair, and have equal teams, you also have some fun. I have played soccer at the public schools and was one of the best players on the field. I could kick a ball across the field and could stop a ball from going into the goal. When we played, I was known as the hammer because I could kick a ball so hard that when it hit someone it would hurt for awhile.
On one day I kick the ball which was at someones foot which hurt my foot so I could not play soccer for a month. In that time all I could do was go on the jungle gym, swings, monkey bars, or just sit on the ground with friends. My friends hated soccer because everyone was mean to them and yelled at them for no reason. So they would bring Pokemon cards and trade them for better ones than they had. I started with one card and ended with a few cards when I stopped. I hate Pokemon cards now. It was a waste of time.
When I got better I started playing soccer again. But the team were always pushing you and saying mean things to people, and friends of mine. It was always this one group of friends that would bully you on the field and push you around, so many good friends of mine stopped playing soccer on the field, and went and played soccer in a different place. I went with them and played with them. We would allow people to come and play with us and have fun together and forget about the bullies.
At the end of the year the grade fivers would challange the teachers of the school to a game of soccer. This would be on the very last day of school. There would be four game times where the students would face the teachers and play, there where more grade 5 students than teachers. To play four times, half the of grade five students would play then the other half would play. The teachers won… but they usually win.
Another favorite sport of mine is paint ball/dog fight is my next favourite game on the wii. I am the best at Dog Fight I can win when both players are playing at 30 hit points without losing one point. I can fly skillfully low to the ground which is very dangerous because you can pop your balloon. I have been through a bridge and through some tight turns without popping my balloon.
To concluded my essay I am very good on the wii and dog fight and can probably beat all of you. I even had friends over who thought they could beat me but turns out I beat my friends. I have recovered from the injury from soccer.

Out of all the things I did this summer, this is the most interesting thing I learned. The Tomahawk missile is a flying bomb that can travel 1600km (1000miles) at a speed of about 890km/h (553miles/h). The Tomahawk has two engines, the first engine sling shots the missile for 13 seconds, after the first engine the second engine starts up shooting the tomahawk at speeds of 890km/h (553miles/h).
The Tomahawk flies low to the ground somethings very dangers to pilots, even the most experience ones. Tomahawks are more agile then humans are in the air. A tomahawk uses the GPS system and something called land finger prints. How this works is the Tomahawk scans the ground to tell which biome it is over and gets the GPS station to tell it which way to go and where it is. The Tomahawk can move back on course and can go on until it hits its target. The scanning and GPS systems can tell the Tomahawk how hight it is from the ground and also what is up ahead.
The way the Tomahawk can be fired from a submarine is that they load the missile into the torpedo luncher, and they shoot the missile like a torpedo and they start the rocket engine from outside the sub. The reason why, is that when the engines starts in the sub, the sub would tear apart from the force of the engines, so that is why they start the engines outside the sub.
Another thing I did this summer was building a taser that hurts when you taser your self. The taser predecease 100v, how I know this is for every inch of spark is 1000v of electricity. The BB pellet cap gun can shoot a pellet at a top speed of 50ft/s. This project was the easiest project I did.
Last summer/year I got to fly a plane (none RC) at the Ponoka airport for 10min. That is something you never forget. I love flying RC planes at the park across the street and seeing how long I can keep it up for and my record is about 1min.
More stuff I did was camping in Yellowknife.

In 1648 there was a population of 750,000 Aborigines in about 500 tribal territories in Australia. What the Aborigines ate for food is kangaroo, moths, grubs, turtle eggs, fish, what the grow in there farms, and fruit bats. They would also have farms on which they would burn down there old vegetation and grow new and richer plants.
There hunting/weapons where made manly out of wood. They use boomerangs to hunt there food or fight there enemies. In each tribe there was about 1500 peoples.
Between 1648-1789 British Captain James Cook surveyed the East cost of Australia and from 1769-70 he claimed the land to the British empire. In 1788 they made a new settlement at Australia at the Port Jackson, Sydney Harbor. Sydney developed slowly but soldiers often got free land in Australia.
In the 1800’s Australia was fully colonized and many more cities were built by the ocean and also inland.
Many groups where hunted down and killed for more land and/or died of the Europeans diseases. Between 1890’s was a gold rush which busted the countrys wealth and population. In 1901 the British gave the country of Australia its independence and in 1911 the new city of Canberra has been designated the nations capital.
Australia was in world war 1 and 2 and was alliance with the USA and Britain. In world war 2 the Japanese put a base on Australia, so the Australians went to there country with the USA and dislodged the Japanese from there country.
Australia remains a strong country to this day.
